The Challenge

Can teaching, education and coaching in Ghana ever be sexy? How do we create a space where teaching and learning is done and enjoyed? How do we create this?

The Client

The client reached out to us because he was looking at taking his current online education brand to another level and completely disrupt the online education marketplace.

The Strategy

The project was initiated after a brief conversation between Brainstorm Africa’s ECD and PM, Michael Lawson and Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta respectively, and the Game Changer’s Founder, Joojo Ocran.

Together, they agreed that the two teams would have to meet for a virtual video project kickoff meeting to organise the plan of attack.

It got deep. From understanding who the brand was speaking to, to understanding how they think. Lots of charts and personas were drawn to understand the link.

Eyes quickly began to glaze over. But once we got past some of the hard research, we were able to surface key insights into the pain points of the Game Changer’s audience

The Outcome

“We need to be a lot more fun than we are currently,” answered lead strategist, Michael Lawson.

During an intense, five week sprint, in collaboration with Yooku Obiri, Logo Designer, we rebranded the Game Changer from the ground up—strategy, design, messaging and identity. To top it off, every piece of content that came after the rebrand has exploded the brand’s attention completely!
